Aruka Peace Foundation, Ozoro

Elomaz Foundation has donated food items to three orphanage homes, Aruka Peace Foundation, Ozoro; Children Revolutionary Foundation, Irri; and Ugholeh Orphanage, Oleh, in Isoko North and Isoko South, Delta State, Nigeria. 

The gesture was part of activities to mark the 56th Birthday Anniversary of the Chairman of Elomaz Foundation, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas.

Items donated include Garri, Rice, Noodles, Salt, Tissue papers, Groundnut Oil, Beverages, and Tin Tomatoes.

The Director General of the Foundation, Mrs. Odogu Veronica E. said, “We are here to demonstrate the love of the Chairman, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, has for the less privileged.”

Mrs. Odogu stated that “The Chairman of Elomaz Foundation always celebrates his birthday by reaching out to the less privileged and has been doing it every year. He deems it necessary to present food Items to them to share in their joy.

“Our focus is not to let the less privileged be on the street nor to be stranded. The little we have, we help and give to them.”

She also opined, “We are still looking forward to the stage where the less-privileged will be empowered to be self-employed and self-reliant.”

Donated Items to Orphanage Homes

“We also take care of the widows and the elderly people. Early this year, we were able to take care of education. We enrolled Secondary School Students of Ayakoromo Grammar School, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State.” 

Also, we provided free Jamb lectures for about 2000 students at our Oleh and Ozoro centres, in Isoko South and Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State.”

She, therefore, enjoined other spirited individuals to join the Chairman, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, saying that the work cannot be finished by one man, those who have should also endeavour to take care of the less privileged.

Appreciating the kind gesture of the Elomaz Foundation, Pst. Great Abraham, Founder of the Children Revolutionary Foundation Irri, said, “He has always come around to support us, he is one of our best partners. During the 2022 flood when we were completely abandoned, he was the only one who remembered us and brought food items and relief materials for us.

“Today is his birthday, he also remembered us, it shows he is a man after God’s heart with so much love for the less privileged. He has paid the school fees of the Children Revolutionary Foundation severally. We pray that God will release for him whatever he wants.”
