Elomaz Foundation as a non – governmental organisation situated in Oleh has restated her commitment to the development of education in the Isoko Nation of Delta State, Nigeria. Speaking during the commissioning of the fence constructed by the Foundation for Emede Grammar School, Emede in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State on Tuesday 13th December, 2022, the Director General of the Foundation, Mrs. Veronica E. Odogu said the initiative was part of the foundation activities lined up for the year 2022 as the Foundation is fully committed to the development of education in Isoko nation, hence the various educational support scheme we have embarked on.

Describing the commissioning of the fence as a dream come true, the Director General said the gesture was in fulfilment of the promises Elomaz Foundation made to the school some time ago.

The National President of Emede Grammar School Old Students’ Association (EGSOSA), Mr. Osasuwa Osamegie who was represented by Elder Ajiri Oboma (the First Senior Prefect of Emede Grammar School), commended the Chairman, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, stating that he always asks about the school’s welfare. On behalf of the Old Student Association, he expressed their appreciation and prayed that God will empower, energise the Chairman, and that God’s hands will rest on everything he do and nothing will stop him.

The Principal of Emede Grammar School, Princess Anikwe, thanked the Director General, Mrs. Odogu V.E. and also appreciated Elomaz Foundation for the construction of the School fence and pray that God will use her to continue to uphold Isoko nation. She further requested that the School fence should be elongated to securely fence the school to stop theft in the school.

The Zonal Director of Post Primary Education Board, Oleh Mrs. Ogbayibo I. U. appreciated everyone present and thereafter expressed her profound gratitude to the Chairman, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas for always giving them listening ears and prayed that God will open his way. She also thanked the Director General for her good work.
